Who doesn’t love the big mac, 2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce cheese, pickles, onions all on a sesame seed bun. Well the special sauce is really the trick in duplicating this burger but we got it now 😉

Ingredients:

Makes 1 Big Mac

  • 1  Sesame Seed Bun (toasted)
  • 1  Sesame Seed Bun Bottom (toasted)
  • 2 1/4 lb Hamburger Patties
  • 1/8  Cup of Finely Diced White Onion
  • 1  Cup of Chopped Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1  Slice of American Cheese
  • Dill Pickle Chips
  • 1/4 Cup of Thousand Island Dressing
  • 1  TBSP of Dill Relish
  • Salt & Pepper

Directions:

  1. Making the special sauce:  mix your Thousand Island dressing and dill relish together in a bowl and set aside
  2. Cook your burger patties on high heat for 3-4 minutes
  3. Flip your burgers and lightly salt & pepper them
  4. Cook for another 3 minutes and remove to a plate
  5. Putting Your Big Mac Together
  6. Put the bottom bun down on your plate first
  7. Put a TBSP of your special sauce on the bun & sprinkle about 1 TBSP of the chopped onion on top of the sauce
  8. Sprinkle a good amount of the chopped lettuce on next
  9. Put your cheese over the lettuce
  10. Add one of your cooked hamburger patties
  11. Put your bun bottom on top of the burger patty toasted side up
  12. Add another TBSP of the special sauce & 1 TBSP of the chopped onion
  13. Put 4 of your pickles on top of the onion and cover with a generous amount of your chopped lettuce
  14. Top with your other burger patty and your remaining bun
