All I can say is I am so happy I found this website Diet Doctor. There are some of the absolutely best low carb recipes I have ever found. This low carb bread is perfect to replace higher carb varieties so that you can still enjoy your favorite sandwiches and not feel a bit of guilt 😉Â
Ingredients:
- 4 1/4 oz of Cream Cheese
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 TBSP of Ground Psyllium Husk Powder
- 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
- A Pinch of Salt
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 300* & line your baking sheet with parchment paper
- Separate the egg whites and yolks into separate bowls
- Whip the egg whites and salt together until very stiff (you should be able to hold the bowl upside down without the egg whites moving)
- Mix the egg yolks, baking powder, ground psyllium husk powder and cream cheese, mix very well
- Add the egg mixtures together being sure to not over mix so that the egg whites keep there airy fluffy texture
- Separate the dough into 6-8 Oopsie breads on your paper lined cookie sheet
- Bake in the middle of your oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown
- Set aside to cool
