This is an amazing pizza from the Diet Doctor website The flavor is so good that you can’t even tell that this is a low carb pizza, you can make this extra crispy on the bottom just cooking a little longer, that’s what I like 😉 

Ingredients:

Crust:
    • 1 1/2 Cups of Shredded Mozzarella
    • 3/4 Cups of Almond Flour
    • 2 TBSP of Cream Cheese
    • 1 tsp of White Wine Vinegar
    • 1 Egg
    • 1/2 tsp of Salt
    • Olive Oil
    • Parchment Paper
Topping:
  • 1/2 LB of Italian Sausage (choose your heat)
  • 1 TBSP of Butter
  • 1/2 Cup of Unsweetened Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of Dried Oregano
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Shredded Mozzarella

 

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400*

Crust:
  1. In a nonstick saucepan add your mozzarella cheese and cream cheese on low heat
  2. Stir them together until they are melted
  3. Add your vinegar, egg and salt mixing until combined
  4. Add your almond flour and combine well
  5. Put some of the olive oil on your hands and and put the crust ingredients on the parchment paper, shape the dough into about an 8″ circle
  6. Prick the crust all over with a fork, and place in your oven for 10-12 minutes
The Topping:
  1. While the crust is cooking place your butter into a frying pan and melt
  2. Add your sausage and cook until crumbly
  3. Take your crust out of the oven and top with tomato sauce, sausage, cheese and oregano
  4. Return to oven and cook an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
