Uncle Pete made this when Brittny was staying over one night and I think it deserves to be included with our family recipes!  Britty couldn’t stop talking about it and how good it was! Now all of us can make Uncle Petes famous tater tot casserole   😉

  • 6 Slices of Crispy Cooked Bacon
  • 1 16 oz Bag Shredded Cheese (Monterey jack mix, cheddar, what ever kind you would like)
  • Wonder Flour

Directions:

  1. Cook the beef stirring frequently so it’s broken down nice and small
  2. When the beef is done put it into the bottom of the casserole dish reserving the juices in the frying pan return it to the stove top on low heat
  3. Add about 4  TBSP of the Wondra Flour to the meat juices and stir in completely cook until a light sauce is formed with the juices
  4. Pour the light sauce made from the hamburger juice over the top of the cooked burger in the casserole pan
  5. Pour 1/2 of your cheese over the top of the gravy then add your frozen corn, uncooked tater tots and bacon
  6. Cover with foil and cook at 350* for about 30 minutes and then remove the foil and continue cooking for about another 30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Add the remaining cheese over the top of the browned tater tots and return to the oven until the cheese is melted, then remove from your oven and enjoy 🙂
