If you love salisbury steak this recipe is going to be a favorite for you. These are absolutely amazing and tender not to mention the gravy is to die for. Anytime I make this recipe there is absolutely nothing left over 😉

Ingredients:

Cook on high for 3-4 hours in your slow cooker

Steak Burgers Ingredients

Salisbury Steak Burgers

  • 2 LBS Ground Beef
  • 1 Envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix ( 1/2 packet)
  • 1/2 Cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumb
  • 2 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
  • Small Vidalia Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Flour ( to coat the patties before frying)
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil (for frying the patties)

 

Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 10.75 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 pkg Dry Au Jus Mix
  • 1 pkg Dry Brown Gravy Mix (make according to pkg directions & leave in the saucepan to keep warm)
  • 3/4 Cups of Water

Directions:

For Salisbury Steak Patties
  1. Mix all of the ingredients for the Salisbury Steak Patties Together
  2. Heat the 1/2 Cup of oil in a large Skillet
  3. Dredge the patties through the flour coating both sides
  4. Put into the heated oil and fry 1 minute per side so they are browned
  5. Put the patties directly into the Crock pot

Directions For Salisbury Steak Sauce
  1. Add the dry Au Jus to the already prepared brown gravy
  2. Wisk in the water until smooth
  3. Add the Cream of Chicken Soup, stirring until smooth
  4. Pour the sauce over the Salisbury Steak Patties
  5. Cover and Cook for 3-4 hours on High

 

Serve over Garlic Mashed Potatoes
