This is a creamy hot dip that is perfect for any get togethers or for a yummy snack the garlic and onion brings out the spinach and cheese flavors in this easy fast dip I prefer plain spinach dip without the artichokes but you could add them if you’d like 🙂 

Ingredients:

  • 2  10oz Boxes of Frozen Spinach (thawed and drained of all water)
  • 8 oz of Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2 Cups of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Cup of Mild Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 Cup of Pepper Jack Cheese (shredded)
  • 2 TBSP of Butter
  • 1 Cup of
  • 1/2 Cup of Milk
  • 1 Medium Vidalia Onion (finely diced)
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp of Garlic Salt
  • 1 TBSP of Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 TBSP of Minced Onion Flakes

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425* butter the bottom and sides of a casserole dish
  2. In a deep frying pan over low heat add your butter, onion and garlic cook until the onions are translucent about 5 minutes
  3. Add your garlic salt, black pepper and minced onion to the onions and garlic, mixing in well
  4. Put your milk and softened cream cheese in the frying pan and stir until all is combined
  5. Put your drained spinach into the frying pan and mix well
  6. Pour your spinach mix into your casserole dish and add your cheese’s saving 1 cup of mozzarella for the top
  7. Mix the cheese completely into the spinach mix and top with the last cup of mozzarella
  8. Bake in your preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until top is browned and bubbly
  9. Remove from the oven and serve with chips, crackers, baguettes or veggie sticks
