There is nothing better than a fresh piece of warm garlic bread fresh out of the oven to go with your pasta dishes.  I prefer making my own not only because it’s very simple but I know it’s made with real butter, fresh crushed garlic and fresh basil.  It’s cooked until it’s just browned on the top and the bread is perfectly crusty so it just melts in your mouth, I hope you enjoy my recipe also 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 1 Loaf of Fresh Italian Bread
  • 1 Cup of Butter Softened
  • 3 TBSP of Freshly Crushed Garlic
  • 1 tsp of Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of Pepper
  • 3 Large Fresh Basil Leaves Finely Chopped
  • 2 tsp of Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 Cup of Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375*

  1. In a bowl combine your softened butter, garlic,garlic salt, pepper and chopped basil leaves
  2. Cut your italian bread lengthwise and place on a cookie sheet
  3. Spread 1/2 of your butter mixture on each half of your bread
  4. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese evenly between both halves and 1 tsp of italian seasoning on both loaves
  5. Bake in your preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned on top
  6. Remove from oven, cut and enjoy
