What’s better on a cold snowy night than coming home to a hearty beef stew in the crockpot, nothing compares. This recipe will have your mouth watering as soon as you walk in the door. Enjoy this with a fresh loaf of bread or ladle it into a bread bowl to serve 🙂Â
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs  Stew Beef
- 2 lbs Baby Carrots
- 4 large potatoes/ peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
- 3 Bay leaves
- 16 oz Beef Broth
- 1 Cup of flour
Directions:
- Â Put the flour in ziplock bag add beef and shake to fully cover with flour.
- Layer the beef in the bottom of the crock pot
- Add all the potatoes on top of the beef
- Add all the carrots on top of the potatoes
- Put bay leaves in next
- Cover everything with the beef broth
- Cover and cook on high for 6-8 hours
- When finished thicken if needed by combining very hot water about 1 Cup and add 1/4 cup of flour. Whisk with a fork till smooth then stir into the broth until mixed in cover for about 15 more minutes to thicken
